Common Goat Sense Product Reviews | Video, Corresponding Blog Post & Giveaway |

Hello friends! I am back sharing some new products with you just in time for summer. :) It's important to take care of our skin and use products that are gentle and safe for our families yet effective. Years ago, my mom stocked me up with a lot of goat milk soap. I wasn't so sure about it or the benefits but I quickly realized after trying it, that it was super nice. So when Brittany contacted me from Common Goat Sense to try out some of her products, I was super excited! Check out my video for all details about the products she sent me. Hope you enjoy! There are photos, information and the giveaway form below.

Brittany was very kind to send me a 5 product sample box to try out. Brittany sells these products through Etsy and I am so amazed by the sellers on that site. Every experience I have had buying items from these little homemade stores has been unbelievable. And I think its great to support the stores there. The kindness and care they take with not only their customers but their products always amazes me. So when this package arrived I opened it up and it smelled like heaven. The sweet aroma flowed up to my nose and then my attention went to the beautiful natural packaging. You can see the care and time she takes in making sure they are packaged well in a very natural way. I totally love the packaging! There are a ton of great reasons to use a goats milk soap.

*Goat's milk soap delays signs of skin again due to its high content of alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid. Alpha-hydroxy acids break down dead skin cell bonds, removing dead skin cells from the skin's surface and leaving behind new cells on the surface that appear smoother and more youthful.

*Water-based soaps on mainstream supermarket shelves use harsh chemical acids to break down dead skin cells. The lasting effect of chemical acids on the skin is more similar to a chemical "burn." Alpha hydroxyl acids found in goat's milk, work with skin instead of breaking it down and aging it further. This kind of soap works well with all skin types even the most sensitive skin can benefit from this kind of soap.

* Goat's milk reduces skin inflammation due to its fat molecule content. The cream present in goat's milk is a moisturizer, soothing dry and damaged skin, possessing an anti-inflammatory effect.

* Loaded with essentials: Goat's milk is packed full of essential nutrients and vitamins like vitamin D, C, B1, B6, B12, and E, that feed the skin and are absorbed into the body.

* Studies now show that goat's milk is effective for treating acne and skin conditions. This is primarily because goat's milk has anti-bacterial properties that delay the growth of microbial organisms that spur the spread of acne.

So now that you know how awesome goats milk products can work for you, let me show you what she sent!

Goat Milk Castile Soap: $5.00 each

This soap is made with raw goat milk, hand milked from a herd by Brittany and her family made with 100% olive oil and natural fragrance or essential oils. They then cold processed small batches to ensure the best quality soap possible taking up to 6 weeks to cure. It produces a soap that is gentle enough for sensitive skin. I got the Oatmeal, milk and honey bar which smells so good. It has a a nice lather and slides right over the skin without leaving a soapy residue. It left my skin feeling clean and soft without any irritation.

This item might be my favorite out of the bunch. Again you can see the packaging is super nice. I love it and I love the product even more. This again is made of raw goats milk and 100% Olive Oil for an all natural shave bar. They added Bentonite Clay to give you a slip and aloe vera to sooth and moisturize the skin. The sweet scent of this shave bar is amazing. I love it and it feels really nice sliding onto the skin and is more creamy than bubbly. My husband might even like this too!

Hand Sanitizer: $5.00 each

This all natural hand sanitizer is alcohol free and made from all natural ingredients. I know so many of us who use these with our children want a more natural version that actually works. This is anti- microbial, anti viral, anti bacterial, anti fungal, and anti infectious because of quality essential oils. These include: Orange Spice, Clove, Orange, and Aloe Vera. This has a more gel like texture but does come out of the pump easily. It smells amazing but its not a overpowering scent. I love that it will take care of all the germs without a sticky residue leaving your hands clean and soft.

Lotion Stick: $7.00 each

This is an interesting product. This lotion stick is made of natural ingredients to moisturize your skin the natural way. This all purpose little power stick has a blend of essential oils that will help cuts, scrapes and even burns. Again, this lotion stick is anti- microbial, anti viral, anti bacterial, anti fungal, and anti infectious because of quality essential oils. It has cinnamon, clove, lemon, rosemary, eucalyptus, shea butter, and mango butter.  You just rub it on your skin and in a few minute it will leave your skin feeling silky soft. There is no water in these lotion sticks so you don't have to use a lot. This has a more clean smell to me and I love that its not only moisturizing but it can help with so many things.

This is also a all natural lip balm that is super moisturizing leaving your lips smooth and a bit tingly. It has shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, and just a hint of peppermint oil which gives you that tingly feeling. I was worried because I am not a huge fan of peppermint but this was not very strong and the tingle is not too strong. Sometimes if they add too much peppermint, it can really sting your lips. This is not that way. It glides on and leaves your lips feeling soft and fresh.

These are such nice products. They work well, they are all natural and are very reasonably priced. So many of us has been in the position of not being able to afford top quality all natural products. I think Brittany was aware of that herself and made her products affordable for everyone. The most expensive product in her shop is $7.00. There are more products there than what I am sharing today so go have a look and see if there is anything that interests you on her etsy shop! ! If so, you can use the code YOUTUBE3 to get a 10% discount! How nice of her to offer that to us! But she is not stopping there. Brittany and her family are hosting a giveaway too!
