Hello friends. I hope you are getting along great on this Thursday! Yesterday was not such a good day around here. I explain it all in the vlog and title alone. But we are getting through it and trying to move on to a better day. Hope you enjoy.

Time to get busy around here!

  1. Hi Kisha:

I came across your video's by accident probably a couple of months ago when I was searching you tube for planner organization. I watched yours and because of your planners this encouraged me to do my own instead of buying one. I have a junior size Arc from Staples that I use as my daily calendar and iCal for my monthly calendar and then hole punch it and put it in the arc.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this with your son. I wouldn't know how to handle this either. It is clear that you love your son and you want to help him with his issues. I did homeschool my daughter and for her it was a good solution but it isn't for everyone.

I am so glad that I did homeschool and it was the best thing that I did. My daughter is now 19 years old and she just finished her first semester taking online college classes at an art school.

One reason I am so glad I homeschooled is because in 2010 when my daughter was 15 and I believe she was in 10th grade she was diagnosed with a severe, life-threatening, progressive, incurable lung disease that was caused by a congenital heart defect that wasn't diagnosed until this same time (she had been sick her whole life but the doctors missed all the signs and didn't listen to me like they should have nor was I as assertive as I should have been). Her live changed so much. She would have never been able to get through the day at school. She would have been in a wheelchair and on oxygen. It has been a nightmare but she is doing very well considering she will need a lung/heart transplant in the future.

My daughter was enrolled in a Christian homeschool program that was accredited and they supplied all the materials and she watched classes via DVD's. It worked very well for us.

Please try not to beat yourself up. You are doing all the things that you can.

I love watching your video's and reading your blogs. I would love to see more organization video's like of paperwork and stuff. I am my daughter's power of attorney and take care of making all her doctor/hospital appointments and basically do all the paperwork and keeping track of her health issues.

Thank you so much for your comment. I love hearing from you! It takes me a minute to moderate the comments so it should show up shortly.
