{ Crockpot Week } Recipe # 1 French Onion Pork Roast - Pictures & Video

Sunday, January 6, 2013

So tonight I am sharing our first crock pot meal for Monday!

French Onion Pork Roast
Here's the video..

Super easy.. and Super Delicious!

Add your soup and sliced up onion

Put your pork roast in fat side up.

add chicken broth ( beef or vegetable will work too! ) to cover

Put the lid on..

cook on  high for 7 hours.

( For our first night of crockpot week husby went out and got me a new crockpot! )

A larger one.. Sooooooooo happy!

I did wash it and switch it out so I had more room for the carrots and potatoes!

About 5 or 6 hours add your potatoes and carrots and cook for additional 2 hours. If you are in a hurry you could always use can potatoes and can carrots .. just cook for less time.

This meal was really good. Jackson really liked it.. and that's saying something because he is a picky eater! Scott and Brandon both had 2 plates full. I thought it really tasty and I served it up with some warm bread. I barely had to do any work!

Tuesdayis crockpot Lasagna!! If you want to follow along the ingredient list is right HERE!! If you do follow along.. send me some pictures.. do a post.. take a video.. and share it in the comments. I would love to see your dishes!!

Happy Crocking!

  3. Looks good. You could easily make barbecue out of the left over pork.
